Working out Deals w/ Gym Owners

Hi!
I've been interning at a great small gym and I know the owner is interested in keeping me there once I hopefully pass the test this week. 
Does anyone have experience with working these deals?  Is it just a % of our fee that's paid to the owner and typically how much? 
Any other creative deals anyone has?

That's a hard one, Vonni.  I think it all depends upon the gym, they all take their cut differently.

Here's my experience: I've heard of the gym taking 40% -60% for your fees.
