Just want to check in. Things are going much better these days. I got hired part-time as a personal trainer at the local YMCA (had my first client this morning). The facility is incredible, all state of the art, lots of Free Motion stuff which makes me VERY happy since I'm big into functional training.
Also have some In-Home clients that I'm working with which I enjoy as well.
Thinking in the future about maybe doing the NASM cert but not in a hurry. I think I'll get the text first and live with it to see if it's something I want to pursue.
For some reason, after doing some research I seem most drawn to that as a possible second certification. Right now I don't want to dive completely into another certificatiion but it's already on my radar.
Well, gotta run, teaching in a little while (still teaching many piano lessons, filled in a few of the vacancies the recession created thankfully).
Nora, if you read this, please let me know how things are going w/ your NASM certification process.
I think that Shawn was doing that as well w/ his University studies.
