I'm Matthew from Columbia, MD. I'm a new personal trainer as of May 1st, 2008. My previous experience in fitness has been as a Spinning Instructor for 6 years. I am also certified as an ACE group fitness instructor as of December 2007. My other job is as an Electrical Engineer. I think it's great that there is a ACE forum!

Hey, folks, Matthew was my trainer during the workshop, and this is one guy who knows his stuff! I'm pretty clueless about the machines, since I mostly use free weights, and he did a great job of giving me a good work out and instructing me on the machines. Unfortunately we ran out of time.
Hey, Matthew, you know what occurs to me? Because the instructor was in a hurry, I don't think we signed the paper we had earlier initialed, did we? That signature proves we were there.
Yes, but that's his mistake. He gave us the certificate of completion which he should not have done without a signature also. If this becomes a problem I guess we will have to contact ACE.
